How is a user supposed to get his or her work viewed if it is buried on a page that has to searched for?

May I ask, how do I "pimp" my gallery here at WC? Sure, I can publish links to it on other sites, but how do I make my works more available on this site from within? After all, isn't that the purpose of using such a site? If I have to draw a userbase from outside the site, then I am only using WC as a storage spot. Heck, I have my own webserver for that. Sorry if I seem to be a bit of a dimwit here, lol.

This isn't just about me. Take me, for example. I recently posted a new wallpaper. But, it apparently is regulated to my personal page or whatever. Well, to my knowledge, I don't have a personal page. If I do, where the heck is it? And, why would my work get regulated to only my page? Why would it not be put into the main gallery? If the work is not good enough to be put into the gallery that ALL viewers can see, why publish it at all? Who's butt do I have to smooch in order to get one of my wallpapers listed in the main gallery so it can be shared with other people, because it evidently isn't getting any hits.

I have another wallpaper that has done quite well, even though it too never made it into the main viewing gallery. Oh, and that one does not show up in my user account now, because WC changed my username from Crotale to Crotale20, even though my link to the skinpage still works.

I should not have to go through all kinds of hoops just to get my work published and viewed. It is one thing to not accept a piece because it didn't meet the criteria, but to publish it in a way that is buried deep within the bowels of the site is actually a worse slap in the face than having said work declined. At this point, I am discouraged enough to make no further attempts at publishing anything on this site. Good game WinCustomize.

<pubDateParsed>2008-05-16T05:46:32</pubDateParsed>
Crotale20 on Wallpaper does not sppear in gallery...

Walls used to be rejected. Now they are almost always approved bu may be regulated to your personal page.

For what it's worth, I have seen afew walls that hae gotten huge downloads from teh personal pages so don't sweat it too much, it's all good.
